Travelers in the Turks and Caicos Islands may opt for rental cars

In the Turks and Caicos, car rental services are rarely available on islands other than Providenciales and Grand Turk . But there are plenty of companies willing to rent you a car on these two main islands. The following companies are located on Providenciales:

Tony's and Dutchies Car Rental services are the only rental companies available on Grand Turk.

Rental cars will set you back between $55(USD) and $80(USD) per day, with an additional rental tax of $15(USD) attached to every rental. When renting a car in the Turks and Caicos, keep in mind that driving is done in the British style, on the left side of the road. And while drivers under the age of 25 may be able to find a company that will rent them a car, 21 is the absolute minimum age limit when it comes to renting a car on these islands. Remember to bring a child safety seat from home if traveling with a young child. Rental agencies will not provide them for you.
