Turks and Caicos Golf

For many travelers, golfing is a relaxing yet competitive part of their vacation. The Turks and Caicos Islands have several pristine golf courses where you can practice your swing while visiting this beautiful part of the world.

There is one 18-hole course in the Turks and Caicos Islands and two smaller courses, including a miniature golf club, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to tee off during your Caribbean vacation.

Provo Golf & Country Club

The largest golf course in the Turks and Caicos Islands is located in the Grace Bay area of Providenciales, or "Provo." Here, golfers will be awed by perfectly manicured greens and fairways as well as by the country club's luxurious atmosphere. Provo Golf & Country Club has a number of fantastic features, including the Pro Shop, where you can get all the equipment you need for your golf outing, and the Fairways Bar and Grill, for exceptional on-site dining. After 18-holes of golf, most people appreciate not having to walk far for a cold refreshing drink or a quick bite to eat. The country club also is known for its various luxury amenities, which makes it one of the best courses in the Caribbean. The clubhouse is one of the country club's most distinctive features and is renowned throughout Provo as being one of the island's signature buildings. Provo Golf & Country Club also has lighted tennis courts, in case you have the energy for a few nighttime matches following an afternoon of golf.

Rated as one of the top 10 courses in the Caribbean by Barron's and Travel and Leisure magazine, the Provo Golf & Country Club provides a luxurious and comprehensive golfing experience for your Caribbean vacation. The landscaping of the golf course is lush and meticulously cared for, which creates a beautiful and relaxing environment to enjoy alongside the area's most challenging and exciting golf. The country club was designed to be reminiscent of "Desert Style" courses, with its lush target areas and waste bunkers. This island course is located on 12 acres of land, which also features marshes and lakes. The natural habitats found within the golf course are home to a number of exotic birds including white herons and pink flamingos and various species of ducks. The flamingo is the official bird of the Turks and Caicos, and flocks are frequently spotted lounging near the course's lakes and marshes.

Rates at the Provo Golf & Country Club are based on how many rounds of golf you want to play. One 18-hole round of golf costs $130(USD), and a five-round playing pass costs $500(USD). Additional green fees start at $55(USD) for members' guests.
